Founded
in 1952, the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) is a public
service provided by a reserve (volunteer) communications group
within government agencies in times of extraordinary need. During
periods of RACES activation, certified unpaid personnel are called upon
to perform many tasks for the government agencies they serve. Although
the exact nature of each activation will be different, the common
thread is communications

To all members, and possible future members of Oswego County Emergency
Communicators / R.A.C.E.S, you are requested to update your N.I.M.S. (National Incident Management System) courses for this year, 2022. Course which are required are NIMS - 100, 200, 700, and 800.
The 147.150 Repeater now has the PL tone of 103.5 turned on.
